URL guidelines

On this online guidelines page, you’ll find the basic rules we follow for providing a landing page URL for all bol Retail Media campaigns.

Submission Instructions

The URL must be submitted via the designated form, which is sent by email to the assigned URL contact.

URL Contact

The URL contact is the person responsible, on behalf of bol Retail Media, for providing the landing page URL.

URL Briefing

The URL should be submitted using the briefing form received by the URL contact via an automated email.

Submission deadline

The landing page URL must be provided at least one week before the campaign’s initial start date.

NL/BE split

If separate URLs are required for the Netherlands and Belgium, the URL contact will receive a briefing with two input fields to submit both URLs.

Disclaimers

  • If the URL does not function correctly and the campaign cannot go live—or must be paused—this will affect campaign performance and delivery quality.
  • bol Retail Media does not monitor URLs during the campaign. The URL contact is responsible for maintaining the URL throughout the campaign according to the specifications outlined below.

URL Change

If a URL change is required during a campaign, this must be coordinated with the project manager at least one week in advance. The new URL must be submitted at least one week before the planned URL change.

Requirements

The URL must comply with the following requirements:

Do's:

  • The URL starts with www.bol.com/nl/... or www.bol.com/be/nl/....
  • The correct assortment is loaded, as agreed with the advertiser.
  • Sufficient stock is available, and the URL contact monitors stock levels throughout the campaign.
  • The URL is active at least one month before and one month after the campaign period to ensure it is live on time.

Dont's:

  • The URL must not contain ? or #.
  • A search result URL must not be submitted.
